The former Paddock public house Image is now the Imperial, a budget hotel belonging to the Trivelles group. Briefly known as the Horse and Jockey around the 1870s it was known as the Fusiliers until around 1970 http://pubs-of-manchester.blogspot.co.uk/2011/07/paddock-cross-lane.html#comment-form
