Granted a Grade II listing https://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/300001101-the-old-bank-including-the-lower-range-entered-from-capel-street-llangollen#.Wh0TloZl-M8 in 1989, this former bank dates from the mid 1850s. The mahogany counters from its days as a bank have been retained in the interior. The Elizabethan pillar box directly outside the door holds its own Grade II listing.
