Now I am using a fixed lens prime, I have to "walk to zoom". That doesn't always work too well, and I really dislike pictures with the crown of trees missing. So I took a whole bunch of 6000x4000 images with my Fuji X100f and stitched them together with Microsoft ICE to get the whole scene in. That gave me a composite image of 16390x7807 pixels, some 130Mb of it. I had to trim that a bit to fit in Geograph, but the original, should anyone care, is available. The footbridge guides people across to Siltside, and the remarkable Black Horse Inn.
