There are four War Department boundary stones defining the boundary of the former Head Quarters Offices of Northern Command in York. BS #4 is in Winterscale Street with the 'WD' and arrow infilled as the offices are no longer WD property. The partly buried inscription 'S. 15FT' indicates that the boundary is actually further out into the street than the stone itself.
