Now a house. Originally a chapel dating from 1863, it was converted to a reading room and meeting place at the end of the 19th century (see Ravenglass Heritage Trail http://www.ravenglassforum.org.uk/HeritageTrailLflt.pdf ). A plaque between the first floor windows is inscribed : M 1898.
