Former hotel on the main street at Burton-in-Kendal. The late-eighteenth century hotel is a grade II listed building (List entry Number: 1087313 https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1087313 Historic England); it has been closed for a number of years and plans have been approved for converting it into residential dwellings (http://www.thewestmorlandgazette.co.uk/news/11653603.Burton_hotel_to_be_converted_into_homes/ Westmorland Gazette).
