View SE, towards Dungeness: ex-SE&CR Appledore - New Romney/Lydd-on-Sea - Dungeness branch. The branch to New Romney was closed 18/4/1964, the station and passenger services to Lydd-on-Sea on 6/3/1967, goods 4/10/1971, but the line is retained for servicing Dungeness nuclear power station (passenger trains may have run only on Sundays but had ceased anyway since 1937).
