This sculpture near the War Memorial was dedicated on 12th October 2013 in honour of the careers of Disley's Multiple Paralympic Gold Medal Winners Dame Sarah Storey DBE and Barney Storey MBE. It was commissioned by Disley Parish Council and produced by local artists Lynn and Simon Mahoney http://www.mahoneysculpture.com/About-Mahoney-Sculpture
