Beside Parlaunt Road, the sign is a short way east of the county line shown on the map. The added bit below the main sign says "Birthplace of the Paralympics." This refers to the Games first held in 1948 at Stoke Mandeville near Aylesbury, considered to be the origin of today's international Paralympic Games.
