Heading West on Janes Lane and approaching Burgess Hill. The Town is just inside West Sussex as can be seen from the signage at the roadside. However, this has not always been the case as until the 1970’s the Town was in East Sussex and was moved when the Local Authority boundary changes were made at that time.
