This unusually plain Roman Catholic church is oddly hidden away, the priest's house being between the church and the street. Its confined site also makes it extremely difficult to photograph. The architects were Charles Edwin Child (1843-1911) and George Goldie (1828-1887) of Sheffield and London, and the building dates from 1878.
