Had been for sale by informal tender for £400,000. Tenders were to be received by 12 noon Friday 28th July 2017. The Former Adult Education Centre and Preschool, was originally a school constructed in 1908 in a typical Gothic style in an attractive local Hamstone under a clay tile roof. Sitting on a site of 0.67acres the property fronts St Andrews Road Conservation Area with car parking/playground to the side and rear. There is shared access from St Andrews Road with the Bridport Primary School. The property has been recently used as offices for Dorset County Council and has been used by St Andrews Pre-school since 1997. It was to be sold with part vacant possession of the office, with the residual lease to the Preschool expiring 31st January 2023 and paying a ‘peppercorn’ rent. (Lease available on application).
