Dudwick Lodge was originally a 16th century thatched and timber framed building and enlarged in 1652. It is now composed of a number of materials, timber, pebble-dash, flint and red brick. In the 18th century, the building became the gate lodge for Dudwick House. It is a Grade II Listed Building. https://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/101050937-dudwick-lodge-buxton-with-lammas#.Wf3v6zFLE5s
