Located at 55 Rochdale Road BL9 0QZ, this bus depot used to house about 117 buses operated by First Manchester Ltd. However, it closed on the 23rd April 2017 and the vehicles and routes were dispersed to other FM depots at Bolton SD7107 refers, Manchester SD8400 refers and Oldham SD9305 refers. It remains to be seen what will happen to this depot site. Bus services in Bury are now mainly operated by FM and Rossendale Transport Ltd, known as Rosso. However Bury Corporation Transport did provide green and cream buses until the 1st November 1969 when it was taken over by SELNEC Passenger Transport Executive.
