Diesel Train at Whitby Station

Ex-British Rail class 25 (Sulzer type 2) diesel locomotive D7628 stands at the head of a NYMR train which has just arrived at Whitby Station. The locomotive was one of the last batch of its type to be built by Beyer Peacock in Manchester, entering service at Tinsley in October 1965. It was withdrawn from service in March 1987.
