This grade II listed thatched pub on Harbidges Lane closed down in 2013 and the prospect of it ever reopening looked bleak. Fortunately, however, Everards purchased it in 2014 and undertook a thorough refurbishment; from all accounts, it is now thriving with good quality beer and food. It was Northamptonshire CAMRA's rural pub of the year in 2016.
