Viewed from Station Road bridge in October 2017. On the right side of the single track railway line, evidence remains of the former northbound track and heavily overgrown second platform, which served trains to Treherbert. The Rhondda Line has been single track between Porth and Treherbert since 1982 which restricts the peak frequency of trains in each direction to every 30 minutes.
