The view of the city centre south west from the tower of St Michael's cathedral church. Foreground left: the rear of the Council House and beyond it part of Little Park Street. Foreground right: the junction of Hay Lane and High Street. In the middle distance the spire is all that's left of Greyfriars / Christchurch and is one of Coventry's traditional three spires (the others being St Michael's and Holy Trinity). To its left is Christchurch House offices in New Union Street. The tallest tower block is Station Tower. The trees on the horizon are in the Memorial Park and, a little closer, Spencer Park.
