Most of this ancient burial ground is packed with old gravestones and most are fenced off so that you can only see them at a distance by peering through or over the railings. Image However the northern area is almost completely free of gravestones, and provide a quiet green area where one can relax under the trees in the centre of London. Along the boundary wall are a small number of stones, about 200 years old, which are not railed off - and I came to see one of them Image
