Class 55 Deltic locomotive No. D9009 Alycidon approaches the foot crossing at the site of West Hoathly station with a train for Sheffield Park. The Bluebell Railway was hosting a Deltic Gala weekend celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Deltic Preservation Society.
