The sandstone rubble building on the left here is one part of the Grade II listed https://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/300015735-terrier-kennels-at-belan-place-ruabon#.WdxrkflSyM8 19th century 'doghouse' at Belan Place, which were purpose built to kennel (presumably) the estate's foxhounds. They attracted their listing in 1995, and are a relatively uncommon rural feature.
