Looking west along Buxton Old Road past a field entrance. There is an Ordnance Survey bench mark cut into the left hand gatepost. Image Prior to 1969 the gateway was shown parallel to the main road, so I presume the gateway was altered in the 1960s to provide a safer access to the field.
