Situated on the A682 Burnley Road, this TE comprises of two buildings of which the smaller one on the right at least dates from the GPO era, ie before 1969. It has the code LCGIS and serves 615 residential and 55 non-residential premises in Gisburn, plus Paythorne, Rimington and Twiston nearby. A white BT warning notice can be seen on the wooden fence to the left of the photo.
