To the right of centre is The Wig and Pen (formerly The Black Lion) and further along The Fox and Quill. Between the two is the former Office for Weights and Measures of 1872, its ceramic tile sign rediscovered during restoration work in 2009 (try the local paper's website: http://www.northamptonchron.co.uk/news/workers-uncover-a-piece-of-history-1-893340 ).
