Above the altar table of Image is this slate plaque of 1744. The quotation is from St Paul's First Epistle to the Corinthians 11:28. "Let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of the bread, and drink of the cup" In larger letters: "The Gift of Mrs Elinor Parry of Penarth".
