This static exhibit on Albion Street was intended to show drivers what a safe passing distance (1.5 metres) looks like when overtaking a cyclist. This was the first year that HSBC had sponsored the series of city centre mass rides, formerly sponsored by Sky. Compared with 2016, more of the stalls and other attractions were in the city centre, and fewer on Woodhouse Moor.
