What was once called Northampton Castle station was rebuilt in the 1960s but the structure had become inadequate by the early part of the present century necessitating the construction of a completely new station building which was opened in 2015. In this view the new building is on the right with access to the platforms via the footbridge. See Image taken from as close as possible to the same spot ten years earlier.
