A closer look at Image The Baptist church was built in 1744, extended and altered in 1832, 1878, 1889 and 1921. It is a Grade II listed building (List entry Number: 1191399 https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1191399 Historic England). This stone records the original building in 1744 and the enlargements of 1832 and 1878.
