The lock attached to the seatpost has jaws which fix the back wheel. On top of the lock is a QR code which can be read by a smartphone to unlock the bike. The bike can be left at a Mobike stand which is just a marked-off area of pavement, or it can be left anywhere bikes can be parked (with exceptions like gated areas and underground parking). See also Image for more description of this group of bikes.
