Most diverted VTEC services are in the hands of HST sets. However, at least one return daylight working is loco hauled, with a hired Class 67 dragging an electric set. Arriva Trains Wales blue liveried 67003 passes the rural halt of Bardon Mill with the 08.22 passenger service from Edinburgh to King's Cross.
