While there are few people in the immediate vicinity of this bus stop, it is the nearest stop to Killarney Park, an isolated residential development about half a mile west of here; presumably that is why the Nottingham bound bus stop rates a shelter. Being on the main route between Mansfield and Nottingham, it is blessed with a frequent bus service.
