Exceptionally grand. Grade I listed https://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/101055706-condover-hall-condover#.Wb9uwWuPKM8 in 1955, the hall dates back to the late 16th century, when it was built for the local Owens family by a mason called Walter Hancock. The exterior in red and yellow sandstone remains much as it originally was, but the interior has been greatly altered over the years, not the least as it was a school for a long while. The listing details state that "Condover Hall is the best large house of its date in the county."
