St Mary's House on the corner of Penarth Road and Trade Street (left side) is the headquarters of Arriva Trains Wales, the company which currently (2017) operates the Wales & Borders franchise. It runs passenger services to all stations in Wales, including Cardiff Central, Cardiff Queen Street, Newport, Swansea, Wrexham General and Holyhead, and some stations in England such as Hereford, Shrewsbury, Chester, Manchester Piccadilly, Wolverhampton and Birmingham New Street. Arriva has run the Wales & Borders franchise since 2003. It is scheduled to finish running it in 2018.
