This was the first official public steaming of this 1901 Smith Bros & Eastwood tandem compound engine in its new home at Barnoldswick. It came from Cross lane Mills, Low Bradley near Skipton and its installation has been a labour of love. It had been running quite sedately and very smoothly a little earlier and I photographed it at the end of the day when the public had dispersed.
