The torrential downpours of 19th June caused severe damage to the Severn Valley Railway in many places between Bewdley and Bridgnorth. This picture was taken shortly afterwards whilst surveying damage to the signalling installation. Repair work has necessitated the temporary removal of the signal and track at this point. Whilst repair work is now underway the line is unlikely to re-open at this point until October 2007.
