At about 21:15. On the left, the Caledonian Sleeper which was cancelled because of the bombing atrocity which occurred in London on this date. Intending passengers, including myself, were accommodated in the static sleeping cars in the platform and were re-ticketed on day trains on the following day. On the right is a class 37 locomotive - the class usually handled the sleeper in those days. In the centre of the view, a class 156 which was forming the final train of the day to Mallaig.
