Marsh woundwort (Stachys palustris) plant of damp or wet places that flourishes in the damper, open area of the Marline Valley Nature Reserve. It is widespread in the British Isles. The reserve is managed by the Sussex Wildlife Trust and leased from Hastings Borough Council.
