Unveiled 1922. Comprising a square plinth of Portland stone with a bronze sculpture of a soldier http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/5507328 by Joseph Whitehead. Listed Grade II. The statue is not in its original position but was moved when the area was pedestrianised.
