The Old Courthouse is a Grade B listed building http://portal.historicenvironment.scot/designation/LB37912 on the corner of High Street and Well Street. It is dated 1772 with later alterations including 19th century shops to the ground floor. The clock Image was presented by Hope Johnstone, M.P. in 1877. It is now occupied by Wallace Bros, butchers and poulterers.
