This track leads up from the minor road to Gargunnock to a small waterfall known as Downie's Loup on the Gargunnock Burn. Touch is pronounced 'tooch' with a guttural 'ch' sound and is said to derive from the Gaelic word 'tulach' meaning knoll or hillock.
