Stone Lane used to meet the A46 some way ahead but after the A46 was made a dual-carriageway racetrack, Stone Lane was closed to vehicles about half way along. The notice at the entrance explains that it can still be used by cyclists. High Walks Farm is just beyond the bend ahead to the left.
