A large number of plastic-wrapped silage bales at the farm at Low Eshells. The plastic wrapping material used for sealing in silage comes in quite a variety of colours. Speaking with the farmer later on we were told that this specific wrap was reckoned to produce a superior product - whether it's the colour that allows certain, more beneficial wavelengths of light through, or if the colour is simply a coding for the type of plastic, isn't known.
