The blue plaque http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/5490153 records that Hyam's Mineral Water Works was established on this site in 1866. The Duke of Beaufort was among its customers. At the end of the 19th century the business was taken over by Charles Ballinger, and traded as Ballinger's Mineral Water Works until the mid 20th century.
