Upton Mill

Built in 1775, Upton Mill was a full working flour mill, it lost its sails in the early 1920's but was still a working bakery in the first half of the 20th century selling bread and cakes to local residents. In the 1950's the buildings fell into a state of disrepair, many having already been demolished but in 1979 the mill itself was put on the market for conversion into a private dwelling and remains so until this day.
