The Lane behind the hedge leads down from the farm (out of sight to the left) past Oxenbold Cottages (in the clump of trees) to the B4368 road at Poplars Farm (visible in the distance). The stubble from this year's harvest is still in this field; the field to the left contains the browned foliage tops of potatoes which have been sprayed prior to digging up.
