This is the Old School House Court side of the archway on the south side of High Street. The blue plaque http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/5485700 records that the archway once led to the dormitories for the boys of Allhallows School. It was erected to commemorate Queen Victoria's Golden Jubilee in 1887. It was restored in 2003 to commemorate Queen Elizabeth's Golden Jubilee the previous year.
