The Red Well Inn, a little over a mile east of Over Kellet on the B6254 Kirkby Lonsdale road, as it appeared in February 1976. The inn looks very different, and more attractive now, having been restored to more like its original character. The whitewash has been removed from the stonework, as have the large unsympathetic front extension and the small dormers, and there are more roadside trees.
