Queen Elizabeth Coronation Fountain

The Queen Elizabeth Coronation Fountain was presented to the city in 1953 and originally sited in Piccadilly Gardens. It was re-sited here in 2002 by the Friends of Platt Fields http://www.plattfields.org/ A few years ago it was part of a rose garden Image but is now surrounded by daffodils. and no longer operates as a fountain.
