Ongoing reconstruction of Portal House School, Sea Street

Planning permission was granted by Dover District Council under application number DOV/15/01079 for the “refurbishment of original Portal House building alongside demolition of later extension and existing teaching buildings. Construction of a new three storey teaching block and gymnasium with associated hard and soft landscaping”. Work seems to have been completed on the teaching block and the original Portal House building, since my last visit showing the Image but the hoarding, across the entrance, suggests that there is still some construction work being carried out on the site.
