Only the base remains of the mediaeval market cross; the pillar itself is a replica from the 1830s. Nevertheless it is grade 2 listed (list entry 1180079). See also Image Next to it is a signpost of the form familiar in the Dales, pointing three ways to Settle, Clapham and Horton.
